Course Overview

Course Objective

Full demonstrations & practice. Full Course Video recordings will be given too for Lifetime Access.

This interactive course with Dr Reg is designed to give the clinician proper skills to work with distance running clients, whether they are new to the sport or a competitive runner. We will approach the assessment of the running client from a physical therapy perspective and utilize our tools to manage this population.

Upon completion of this course, you should feel confident in your abilities working with distance runners.

We will also review common injuries associated with runners, review manual therapy techniques, and discuss power development for this population.

  • Lower Quarter, Pelvis, Lumbar spine Review
  • Functional assessment
  • Mobility checklist
  • Gait Evaluation
  • Micro-Anatomy: how tissues respond to endurance training

Client Management:

  • Manual therapy review for improving common mobility issues
  • Management for common running injuries
  • Power development of runners
